Delivery

We like to keep it simple at Lady Griddlebone, so all our prices include free shipping to mainland UK postcodes. If you're unsure whether your postcode falls within this category (e.g. Highlands, Isle of Man etc), please do get in touch to discuss before ordering.

We will package your purchase very securely and only use professional specialist furniture couriers for nationwide delivery. These are mostly "one man" services and may require assistance unloading from the van when delivering large items, and delivery is to the first door of entry to the property.

We will give you an estimated delivery date and approximate time, but these cannot be guaranteed in every case. However, our couriers will make every effort and we always strive to ensure that are customers are kept updated.

Of course, you’re also very welcome to collect an item from our workshop yourself! Please let us know that you’d like to do this when ordering.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 14 days in line with UK distance selling regulations, which require you contacting us within this time. Return shipping is paid for by you as the customer. Refunds will naturally be subject to the item being returned in the same condition as it was sold.

Please note that custom commissioned items do not fall within these guidelines and are non-refundable.

We take care to check over items prior to dispatching, and ensure they are carefully packaged for safe transit. We ask that you check the piece on arrival in the presence of the courier, and in the unlikely event of damage, we ask that you notify us promptly (and in any event within 48 hours of receipt of any goods) if they appear to be damaged from transit.

If you are unhappy with your item for any reason, please do get in touch as soon as possible by emailing nina@ladygriddlebone.com and we will aim to resolve any issues.
