Leopardess is a true “show-stopper” of a piece, mixing elegance with eccentricity.
This luxurious vintage cabinet showcases a contemporary exotic design, with a tropical vibrant palette, against a sophisticated black and gold frame. The piece has been refurbished using high-end Scottish designers, Timorous Beasties, “Clouded Leopard” paper.
The interior adds a splash of rich reds and gold. In the top section, a drop-down drinks cabinet has been enhanced with gold leaf, finished with hand-painted red and black abstract design. Mirrors add depth and sophistication to the inside, and the original cocktail stick holder includes fresh new sticks ready for use. There is also a small glass shelf and the drop-down door has a fixed glass area with a foliage design underneath. The lower cupboard provides a generous space, featuring a small, shelved area, all finished in red with gold edging.
The ornate original carved detailing on the legs and lower edge has all been finished with blended specialist waxes, and the whole piece has been waxed in a black wax polish.
