There is something quintessentially “English Summer” about the way this stunning furniture transformation has turned out.  
A simple, solid, vintage wooden table, with pretty moulding detail, was repainted in a delicate pale green.  The surface was sanded and covered with specialist furniture wax to highlight the grain and patina, and to protect it from everyday knocks.  
A timeless William Morris paper was cleverly and carefully decoupaged to the sides of the table and to the interior and front of the drawer. 
Finally, new vintage feet were added to complete the look.
The result is a quietly understated, eye-catching, beautiful piece that will never go out of fashion, and will always look absolutely gorgeous in your home.
